Bassist Dominic Howles brings his London-based group to play the music of Blue Note records with a special emphasis on composer and pianist Duke Pearson. Chris Coull – trumpet, Andy Panayi – alto sax, Dave O’Higgins – tenor sax, Mick Foster – bari sax, Mark Edwards – piano, Matt Fishwick – drums, and led by Dominic Howles – bass.

This band came in June last year and I was so bowled over we just had to get them back! Duke Pearson is one of the many under appreciated jazz greats. His writing for septet is superlative and the band get another chance to air his music.
