Alan Barnes has put together a great 11 piece band, featuring some well known names on the UK jazz scene. Alan writes: “To mark my 60th birthday I've commissioned Mark Nightingale to write
arrangements of tunes from 1959-the year I was born and the year that one of my favourite albums "Art Pepper + 11" was recorded. This gig is the first public performance and an album will be recorded in early February.”
