Mick writes music for many different types of ensemble. These include big band, brass ensemble, saxophone and piano duo, saxophone quartet and jazz small band. Mick's pieces are played regularly by many established groups including the London Jazz Orchestra, the London City Big Band, the Sydney Jazz Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia and Onyx Brass.
Some of Mick's pieces have been published by Saxtet Publications and are included on the current Trinity College and Associated Board exam syllabuses. Mick's music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and has been played in many parts of the world including Europe, Asia and Australia.
